BRAND STEWARDSHIP · CAMPAIGNS

It’s Time Texas

A health nonprofit was scaling fast and its brand was straining to keep up. As their designer for seven years, I built the system that let it grow from reaching thousands of Texans to millions.

The problem

Growing organizations usually outgrow their brands. New programs, partners, and funders each pull the identity in a different direction until nothing matches. It’s Time Texas was adding statewide campaigns and events every year, and they all needed to look like one organization.

What I did

I built a micro-brand system: each major program, the Community Challenge, Texas Walks, the annual summit, got its own identity that still connected clearly back to the mission. A poster in a small-town gym and a sponsorship deck in a boardroom were unmistakably the same movement.

That balance, local enough to feel personal, consistent enough to build one brand, is what lets an organization say yes to new ideas without the brand falling apart.

Turning impact into stories

Health data doesn’t move funders on its own. I designed the annual reports, funding documents, and sponsorship decks that turned dense outcomes into stories partners could act on, including the deck that proved the Community Challenge’s statewide value.

What this means for you

If your organization is growing faster than your brand can handle, this is the work I do. I build identities that stretch without breaking, so you can keep saying yes.
