Lucile’s Creole Cafe

Lucile’s is a Colorado institution with a brand its dated website buried. I redesigned it to feel as warm as the restaurant, with a live working build you can click through.

The problem

Lucile’s has a 45-year story and a menu people drive across the state for. The website had none of that charm, just a dated theme dumping the full menu and six phone numbers onto the homepage.

What I did

I rebuilt the site around the brand’s own warmth: a palette drawn from the food, a menu you can actually browse, and a homepage that opens with the story instead of a wall of text. It loads fast, works on any phone, and runs on free hosting, cheaper than the setup it replaces.

What this means for you

If you run a restaurant or local business with a site that doesn’t match the real thing, this is exactly the kind of redesign I do, and I’ll build it so it’s cheap and simple to run.
